It’s been a long while since I posted- I’m actually concentrating on ceramics these days- if you get a chance, please check out my site– my new little company called Miro Made This…

But anyway, in the meantime, I wanted to introduce a friend that you’d probably like, because Pete‘s aesthetic is a little like that of my cards- bright and modern, with kind of the same audience appeal, except much more clever… It’s actually a project that my sister, Mimi, and her friends Sean and Pete are working on together- and they need your help to make their book a reality! Back to blogging- hope everyone had a good holiday season… I get so burnt out with all of the holiday madness that I end up needing to take a break. Anyway, happy new year and here’s a quick shot of a turntable card that I made for a friend’s birthday- he’s a dj. I literally made it a half hour before his party, so there wasn’t time to take a good photo, but you get the idea.

Here’s a photo of a real turkey- this guy was actually spared, because when it came down to it, the family couldn’t eat it (let alone kill it) for thanksgiving.

the holiday season is here again…so Frank is saying hello again…(he’ll be up in the shop briefly starting tomorrow).

Here’s a couple of custom birthday cakes I’ve made recently- I’m pretty happy with how they turned out- sometimes this sort of thing can get a little too busy, and I really like to keep things clean and minimal (my husband would say something about wishing the house was like that too)!

The busy season has started for me- here’s a couple of photos of some cards for current orders… Hope everyone’s autumn is going well. We’ve finally dipped below the 100 degree mark, which in Phoenix, means fall- yay!
